Welcome to the website of KAIDO Motors at kaidomotors.com (“We,” “Us,” “Our,” or the “Company”). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. By using our site, creating an account, participating in sweepstakes, or making a purchase, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of it, please do not use the site.

Note: Our site is powered by Shopify. Some data is processed by Shopify to operate the store and for Shopify’s own services. See “Relationship with Shopify” below.

1) Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Contact & account info (name, email, shipping/billing address, password).

  • Order & returns info (items purchased, amounts, delivery details).

  • Sweepstakes info (entries, eligibility, household/IP limits, claims).

  • Support messages, reviews, survey responses.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device & usage data (IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, timestamps, referring URLs).

  • Cookies/trackers (cart, session, analytics, ad attribution, fraud prevention).

  • Security and anti-bot signals (e.g., Turnstile verification result).

Payment data:

  • Processed by our payment partners (e.g., Shopify Payments). We do not store full card numbers.

2) How We Use Your Information

  • Orders & services: Process payments, fulfill/ship orders, handle returns, maintain your account.

  • Sweepstakes & promotions: Validate eligibility, prevent fraud/duplicate entries, contact winners per official rules.

  • Security & fraud prevention: Authenticate users, prevent abuse/bots, protect our services and customers.

  • Personalization & analytics: Improve site performance, recommend products, measure campaigns.

  • Marketing (email/SMS/ads): Send offers, cart reminders, and updates (see Section 6 for SMS).

  • Legal/Compliance: Tax, accounting, law enforcement requests, enforcing our Terms.

3) Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • keep your cart/session,

  • remember preferences,

  • run analytics and performance,

  • measure ads and attribution,

  • reduce fraud/abuse.

4) How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with:

  • Shopify (store hosting, checkout, payments, analytics, security).

  • Payment processors & banks (process payments, prevent fraud).

  • Fulfillment & logistics (shipping carriers, warehouses, returns handling).

  • Cloud & database providers (e.g., Supabase for order/profile/sweepstakes data).

  • Security/anti-bot (e.g., Cloudflare Turnstile).

  • Marketing & analytics (email/SMS providers, ad/measurement platforms).

  • Professional services (lawyers, auditors) and legal authorities when required.

  • Business transfers (merger, acquisition, asset sale).

Service providers act under contracts limiting their use of your data to the services they perform for us.

5) Relationship with Shopify

Our store runs on Shopify, which collects and processes personal information to operate and improve the Shopify platform. Shopify may also use data for platform features (e.g., fraud controls, ad/analytics services it provides to merchants). 6) Mobile/SMS Terms (If You Opt In)

By opting into KAIDO Motors’ SMS program, you agree to receive recurring texts (order updates, account alerts, promotions, sweepstakes). Message & data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

  • Opt-out: Text STOP to cancel.

  • Help: Text HELP or email kaidomotors01@gmail.com.
    Carriers are not liable for delayed/undelivered messages. You certify you’re the owner/authorized user of the number provided.

Message frequency varies, typically 6–8 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any KAIDO Motors text message. For help, reply HELP or email admin@kaidomotors.com. Our SMS program is operated using Twilio Inc. as the message delivery service provider; Twilio processes phone numbers and message content solely to deliver messages on our behalf and does not retain or use this data for its own purposes. 7) Your Choices & Rights

  • Access / Update: Ask for a copy of your info or request corrections.

  • Delete: Request deletion where applicable (order/transaction/legal retention may limit deletion).

  • Marketing Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message. For SMS, reply STOP.

  • Ad Preferences: Use browser settings, platform ad settings, or applicable opt-out links.

  • Do Not Sell/Share (where applicable): If your state grants this right, contact us (see Section 12). We apply GPC signals where legally required.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a rights request. You can authorize an agent where allowed by law.

8) Data Security & Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is 100% secure. Keep your account credentials confidential.
We retain data as needed for orders, accounting/tax, legal compliance, fraud prevention, and legitimate business purposes. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

9) Children

Our site is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. If you believe a minor provided data, contact us and we will delete it where required.

10) International Transfers

We may transfer, store, and process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll post the revised version with an updated “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Policy.

13. KAIDO Motors Mobile Application

When you use the KAIDO Motors mobile application (currently in development), we collect:

  • Account information: email address (via Shopify Customer Accounts) and display name
  • Device identifiers: Apple Identifier for Vendor (IDFV) on iOS or Android device ID
  • Push notification tokens (only with your explicit permission)
  • Gameplay data: which games you play, your daily streak count, daily entry claim status
  • Approximate location: state-level only, derived from IP address, used to verify sweepstakes eligibility
  • Profile data: date of birth, state of residence, time zone
  • Authentication tokens: stored securely on your device only
  • IP address: captured at sweepstakes entry submission for fraud prevention and audit compliance

We use this data to:

  • Operate the sweepstakes (verify eligibility, prevent fraud, audit entries as required by law)
  • Send relevant push notifications you've opted into
  • Improve app functionality

We do NOT:

  • Sell your data to third parties
  • Use IDFA or other cross-app tracking identifiers
  • Share data with advertising networks

You can delete your KAIDO app account and all associated personal data at any time directly within the app via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days; anonymized entry records may be retained for sweepstakes audit compliance as required by applicable law.
